Sanctuary From The Elements

During the extreme heat last summer, in search of shade and a place where my dogs could get exercise at mid-day with out over heating, I stumbled upon  Woodland Cemetery.  What a discovery!  Not only did it provide plenty of shade trees, but with delight I discovered there were water spigots every few meters.  Truly a dog paradise!

 And it is not just a great warm weather location.  When ice and salt cover Burlington sidewalks dog walking friendly, cemetery roads are typically cleared by 10:00 am and sanded not salted.
